We are testing new ways to improve the member experience at our online check-out. Here’s what you need to know

Many of you will have noticed that the demand for our bottles last week was high enough to implement our new queue system, which was being tested in response to our recent member survey.
As with any new software, it can take time to get it right and after its first real challenge last week, we are looking to improve it further for today’s releases. Here are some tips on how this will work:

  • We plan to reduce the length of time that the queue is active prior to the bottles going live. The queue will now activate 5 minutes before the sale starts, therefore at 1.55pm today
  • Everyone on the website at this time will be assigned a place in the queue at random. Please therefore note that there is not an advantage from being on the site early or for a long time
  • Once through the queue, you will have 15 minutes to shop and check out. Quantities will be restricted for high profile bottlings, so that these will not all be snapped up by the first few people through the queue.
