It’s time to unveil the Society’s November Outturn. In this review, SMWS ambassador Phoebe reviews a few of her favourites and explores the importance of picking whisky to suit your mood.

Reading Time: 4 minutes

As readers will know from my review of the Extra-Ordinary Outturn, I’m exploring what makes drinking whisky so special. It can be a joyous and rewarding experience when you find a dram that works for you. But as many of you will know, sometimes your favourite whisky won’t cut it. It’s your fail-safe dram and it doesn’t let you down. Until one evening, it doesn’t satisfy you. Rather than be put off – try something a little different and you will be pleasantly surprised. Your mood can have a huge impact on the way your favourite food and drinks taste. Something great can suddenly seem lacking when your mood changes. In this latest preview of the new November releases, I’ve picked a few favourites that will match your every mood.
