Event Details

While not the first food product that springs to mind when you think of Scotland, local charcuterie really has come a long way to the forefront of the Scottish larder, with independent passionate people who have the know- how to enhance locally sourced fine prime ingredients. Edinburgh based East Coast Cured will join us tonight and explore with us the diversity of techniques, ageing and seasoning used in curing meat. The large array of flavours they develop from using top quality meat and whisky chip smoke will complement perfectly the diversity you will find in our Society single malt, single cask whiskies. We will be tasting five of our excellent drams and try and match them with their locally cured charcuterie meats.
