An almost fatty aroma of creme brulee, toasted coconut, blackcurrant jam, matcha, green wood, lambic ale, clover, pancake batter, crumpets oozing butter, gooseberry and chamomile tea fortified with a shot of strawberry liqueur. Add water and there's notes of old oven gloves, match boxes, tea tree oil, tool boxes, plum skins, black grapes, sea buckthorn and mango jelly. A wee hint of black olive paste and umami as well. The palate opens with nettle cordial and the sharp tinge of lime juice. Then loganberry sauce, chocolate cake, black pepper, cured meats, orange and lemon travel sweets, cocktail bitters and aged cabernet sauvignon. With water there's hardwood resins, coal dust, lychee syrup, chopped dates, cherry kirsch and poached peaches and pears.
