This sample had a wonderful duality of deep earthy and woody aromas, like walking through a traditional dunnage warehouse with an earthen floor and the scent of a creamy, sweet and aromatic Brazilian Mata Fina cigar followed by the juicy freshness of tropical fruit flavoured ice cream with a sprinkling of cinnamon and nutmeg. A drop of water and we found ourselves in a carpenter’s workshop and on a beautiful oak coffee table there was a freshly made chocolate cardamom plum ‘clafoutis’. The mouth-feel was silky, airy and so very creamy, like a coconut pudding with chai, vanilla and cherries.

DRINKING TIP: Put your feet up and relax
