Description

Beginning with the enticing sweetness of pistachio nougat we were drawn into a world of warm woody spice and scrummy desserts. Chocolate orange and custard creams lead the heavenly charge before encountering the complex wine notes of orange muscat and old Armagnac with the integrated freshness of eucalyptus leaves. Linseed oil and caramel progressed into a finish of fine sawdust and fresh bark like a sun kissed pine forest on a springtime morning. After spending 26 years in an ex-Bourbon hogshead it was transferred to a 1st fill French oak hogshead for the remainder of its maturation.

DRINKING TIP: The icing on the cake to end an evening of delectable flavours.
