CASK No. 122.25

Heavily peated

Not for the faint-hearted

Age 7 Years
Date Distilled 11th February 2011
Cask Type Second Fill Ex-Bourbon Hogshead
Region Highland
Outturn 1 of 291 bottles
ABV 57.9%

The pale, platinum, golden wine colour of a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand was followed a citrus aroma of kaffir limes and grapefruits but both heavily scorched over a peat fire. The taste is just like ‘a torch light procession marching down your throat’, but at the same time as intensely sweet as teriyaki tuna and kale chips dressed with malt vinegar. Water added the scent of burning rosemary and thyme, muscle rub, blowing up a lilo and a full cigar ashtray. On the palate now like salmon fillets grilled over burning tyres and seasoned, in the finish, with Finnish tar syrup.
