Event Details

As a member of the Society, you know that one of the keys to obtain an excellent whisky lies in the quality of the cask. Diversity is the spice of life, and in this respect, members love the variety of cask the society is bottling from. From Olorosso, to Pedro Ximenez, from moscatel to muscat, what is it to know about those exotic and foreign libations? And how can they impart the flavours of the whiskies? In a comparative tasting we will sample the wines that previously inhabited the casks and see if if we can find some similarities. Again, this is a tasting for members who want to learn and go past what is on the label. A supper will be served with the tasting.
